We launch in style (pants required)

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our 2017 launch Red Tie Soiree.

We had a jam packed room (Yacht), thanks to our new partners the Canberra Southern Cross Yacht Club who hosted our very first launch.

On the night both seasoned Shufflers and those eager to join us enjoyed great food and wine, while hearing about #whyweshuffle.

Head Santa Heidi opened with a moving story about why the event started and what it has meant for the Canberra CF community. We then heard an inspiring story from Kate Daly & Bella Mitchell on what it’s like to live with cystic fibrosis. These stories warmed our hearts, surely it won’t be that cold in speedos?
(Live videos can be viewed on our Facebook page)

Our fundraising kicked off with a $2,500 pledge from long time supporters Mapei. Mapei join us again this year as our official uniform partner, making sure we look the part. Registrations started flowing in and when we thought we were about to burst with anticipation of all to come this year, Nic Salter-Harding took centre stage!

Current title holder of Auction Idol Winner for the international LJ Hooker Network, Nic Salter-Harding of LJ Hooker Dickson auctioned off a lovely bouquet of red and yellow flowers from GG’s Flowers and after much bidding Stephen Bunday took home the lovely prize.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and is with us as we strive for $200,000 for Cystic Fibrosis ACT. Thank you to Rachel Stephen-Smith MLA for showing her support of the cystic fibrosis community. And we look forward to seeing you all on the big day.

While pants were on for this event, very soon we will be “slipping into something a little more charitable”! Register now

Head Santa xx
